Tip

Criminal law

Criminal law in Iran defines prohibited conduct, possible punishments, and the procedure used to investigate and decide an accusation. The system combines enacted criminal rules with Islamic legal categories and principles. Anyone facing arrest, questioning, or a formal accusation should seek qualified legal assistance quickly.

Consumer protection

Consumer protection in Iran covers common problems involving price information, product quality, warranties, misleading claims, and failure to deliver what was promised. Protection is spread across contract rules, trade regulation, standards, administrative bodies, and courts rather than one simple complaint system. Receipts and written promises are often the strongest practical starting point.

Civil law

Civil law in Iran governs many private relationships, including contracts, property, family matters, inheritance, debt, and compensation for harm. The Iranian Civil Code is central, while Islamic legal principles strongly shape several fields. Clear documents and early proof are important when private rights are disputed.
