Arrival in Suriname

Arrival in Suriname involves entry documents, border formalities, local registration and access to essential services. Before travel, check whether you need a visa or Entry Fee Voucher, complete the Immigration and Customs Form (ICF), and prepare proof of accommodation, funds and any required health document. After arrival, foreign residents use Vreemdelingendienst, CBB/Directoraat Burgerzaken and Bureau voor Burgerzaken (BvB) for immigration and address registration; Suriname has no single arrival centre. Legal residents must also arrange basic health insurance and know the emergency contacts.
