Housing in Zimbabwe includes private renting, ownership, local-authority housing, customary communal residence, tied accommodation and informal settlements. In the 2022 Population and Housing Census, 58.5% of households were recorded as owners, 19.2% as lodgers and 3.1% as tenants.
