State in Seychelles

The State of Seychelles is a sovereign democratic republic governed by the Constitution of the Republic of Seychelles, adopted for the Third Republic in 1993. It has a presidential, centralised and non-federal system: the President leads the executive, the National Assembly makes laws and oversees government, and independent courts apply the law. Public services are delivered mainly through central ministries and agencies, with district offices providing a local interface.
