Politics in Grenada

Politics in Grenada is organized through a constitutional monarchy and parliamentary government covering Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique. The King is the head of state and is represented by the Governor-General, while elected representatives and ministers direct Parliament and public administration. Voters elect one representative in each of 15 constituencies, and appointed senators also participate in Parliament.

The State of Grenada is a constitutional monarchy and parliamentary government covering Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique. Elections

Grenada uses a Westminster parliamentary system in which voters elect one representative in each of 15 constituencies. The House of Representatives has 15 elected members and a Speaker, while the 13 Senate members are appointed. The Parliamentary Elections Office manages registration and elections under the supervision of the Supervisor of Elections.
