Costs in Ghana

The cost of living describes the money needed for ordinary life. Ghana has large differences between major cities, smaller towns, rural communities, and places where goods must travel long distances. Family support, ceremonies, religious or community contributions, and remittances are important parts of many household budgets. They should be planned openly so that essential needs and relationships are not placed in sudden conflict. Prices and purchasing power can change over time.
