Elections in Canada

Elections in Canada allow eligible citizens to choose representatives at federal, provincial or territorial, and municipal levels. Federal and most provincial or territorial contests elect one representative for each electoral district, often called a riding. Separate election authorities administer voting under the rules that apply to each level.
