Employer in Azerbaijan

An employer is the party that hires an employee and directs work within an organization. In Azerbaijan, the local term işəgötürən is widely used in employment documents and discussions. Employers can include private companies, public bodies, nonprofit organizations, and individual entrepreneurs with authority to hire. The legal identity named in the labor contract matters because it identifies who carries the employment obligations.
