Health in Brunei

Brunei provides public healthcare through Health Centres, Health Clinics and four public hospitals. It includes prevention, examinations, treatment, medicines, emergency care, mental health services and follow-up care. Private clinics and specialist centres complement the public system.

Tip

For planned health concerns, start with the responsible Health Centre or Health Clinic and check registration, opening hours and possible fees in advance. In an acute emergency, use direct access to the Emergency Department or EMAS at 991. For preventive care, mental health concerns and repeat medicines, early appointment and follow-up planning through BruHealth or the responsible facility can be helpful.
