Religion in Rwanda

Religion is widely practiced in Rwanda, where Christianity accounts for about 92% of reported affiliations and Islam, traditional beliefs, other religions and no religion also form part of society. The state protects freedom of thought, conscience, religion, worship and public religious expression within legal limits. Religious organisations, schools, holidays and life-event ceremonies operate alongside Rwanda's civil registration and public administration systems.
