Living in Venezuela

Venezuela lies in northern South America on the Caribbean Sea and borders Colombia, Brazil, and Guyana; around 28.9 million people live there. The country encompasses Caribbean coastlines, the Andes, the vast plains of the Llanos, and tropical forest regions. The coast and lowlands are generally warm, with pronounced rainy and dry seasons, while the mountains are cooler. Daily life differs greatly between Caracas and other cities, rural communities, and remote regions. Many people live in apartments or houses and get around by bus, car, or motorcycle. Employment is found, among other sectors, in trade, services, agriculture, and industry; family, music, shared meals, and baseball shape leisure time.
