Language in Sudan

Sudan has Arabic and English as official government languages, while all Sudanese languages are recognized as national languages that should be respected, developed and celebrated. Modern Standard Arabic is used mainly in formal writing, law, administration and schooling, while Sudanese Arabic serves everyday communication and regional exchange.
