Media in Rwanda covers press, broadcasting, online publications, streaming, social media and journalism. RURA regulates licensing, spectrum, broadcast and internet services, while RMC handles self-regulation, journalist accreditation and complaints; RBA provides public-service broadcasting. Radio remains the most trusted and widely used channel, while online and social media are expanding despite substantial urban-rural access gaps.
