Media in Liechtenstein

Media in Liechtenstein includes newspapers, radio and television, streaming services, social platforms and journalism. The local market is small, concentrated and strongly connected to the surrounding region: Liechtensteiner Vaterland is the daily newspaper, while Liewo is a free Sunday paper and foreign media supplement local coverage. Broadcasting is changing: Radio Liechtenstein ended on 3 April 2025, Radio Vaterland is a private alternative with web streaming and DAB+, and the Landeskanal provides official information rather than full newsroom journalism. Liechtenstein rules cover media freedom, access, youth protection, privacy, copyright, corrections and media funding.
