Transport in the Central African Republic

Road transport is the main connection between cities and regions in the Central African Republic. In Bangui, green buses, yellow taxis, taxi-motos and small minibuses operate; outside the capital, dirt and gravel roads determine access. There is no documented regular national passenger or freight rail service. Rivers and Bangui-M’Poko Airport supplement road transport for individual local, cross-border and international connections.
